The refugees, whom the world sees as numbers that it transmits through its screens and the statistics of its governments, are people who fled with their dreams from a huge ammount of conflicts, and each one of them has a story that is suitable for being an epic no less than the Odyssey itself.
I did not need to go far in my imagination while writing these stories, as I lived that journey at the end of the summer of 2015, witnessing it with my own eyes and feet, and the hundreds of people I knew through it.
